On Thursday December 7, TMC Architecture Limited and Planviron Limited, member companies of The HCL Group of Companies hosted a cocktail reception for its key stakeholders at the Bois Cano Restaurant to celebrate their ISO 9001:2000 Certification.

This milestone in each company’s history is significant as its attests to their commitment to the delivery of quality in every aspect of their business operations. TMC Architecture Limited is the first architectural firm in Trinidad and Tobago and the Southern Caribbean to have achieved this distinction while Planviron Limited is the first Engineering Consultancy firm in Trinidad to do so.

Planviron’s Managing Director, Suresh Ratan noted in his remarks, “For those of you who do not know, ISO 9001 2000 is an international quality standard used to assess the ability of a business to meet customer and applicable regulatory requirements and thereby address customer satisfaction. To this end Planviron has developed a suitable structure and a set of quality processes which we follow in conducting business. By so doing it is hoped that the end product meets or even exceeds the customer’s expectation in terms of quality, efficiency of design and timeliness of delivery.”
